Barcode generator

Code128, EAN-13, or UPC — enter a value and download the PNG.

How it works

The JsBarcode library draws the chosen symbology's real bar pattern as an SVG in your browser, which is then rasterized onto an off-screen canvas and exported as a PNG for download. Each format encodes differently: EAN-13 and UPC-A require an exact-length numeric string that includes a checksum digit, while Code128 can encode arbitrary text using its own variable-width bar encoding.

FAQ

Why does EAN-13 or UPC-A reject my input?
Those formats require an exact digit count (13 for EAN-13, 12 for UPC-A) that includes a built-in check digit — enter a different value or switch to Code128, which accepts any text.
Can this generate a scannable real-world product barcode?
It renders standards-compliant Code128/EAN-13/UPC-A bar patterns, but an EAN-13 or UPC-A number tied to an actual product also needs to be registered with GS1 — the tool doesn't check whether a number is a real registered product code.
