How it works

Cards you add are saved as an array of front/back pairs in this browser's localStorage, so they're still there next time you open the page. Study mode flips the current card between front and back on click, Next/Prev wrap around the list with modulo, and Shuffle runs a Fisher-Yates shuffle to randomize the order in place.

FAQ

Where are my flashcards saved?
In this browser's localStorage under the key "flashcards" — so they survive a page reload or closing the tab, but only on this device and browser; clearing your browser data will erase them, and there's no account to log into and get them back.
What does Shuffle actually do?
It randomly reorders the whole card list in place (a Fisher-Yates shuffle) and jumps back to card 1 — the new order is saved, so the next study session keeps the shuffled order until you shuffle again or add more cards.
