Why does my GIF look grainy?
GIF supports at most 256 colours per frame. Photos with smooth gradients lose detail when they're reduced to 256 colours. Simple images with flat colours look sharp.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Frames are read and encoded inside your browser.
Why is the file large?
GIF stores every frame in full. Lower the width or use fewer frames to shrink the file.
