How it works
Each category's fixed list of real, sourced values is shuffled (Fisher-Yates) into a fresh order at the start of every run. You compare the revealed current value against the hidden next one; a correct guess advances the streak, and a wrong guess ends the run immediately, with your best streak per category saved locally.

No — each run shuffles that category's fixed list once and steps through it in order, so a run only ends early on a wrong guess or after every item in the category has been shown once.
Where is my best streak saved, and does it reset if I switch categories?
