How it works

Pasted terraform show -json output is read for its resource_changes array and each entry's actions list is classified against HashiCorp's own JSON plan format — a replace is exactly the pair ['delete','create'] or ['create','delete'], never a separate 'replace' string. If the input isn't valid JSON, it falls back to matching Terraform's own plain-text comment phrasing, like '# X will be created' or 'must be replaced'.

Does it work if I paste plain terraform plan console output instead of JSON?

Yes, as a fallback — it looks for Terraform's own comment-line phrasing such as '# aws_instance.web will be created', though terraform show -json is more reliable since the plain-text format's exact wording can vary between Terraform versions.
