Borderlands 3 Skill Tree Planner
Plan a build for Amara, FL4K, Moze, or Zane — real skill names and tree layout, with the game's actual tier-gating rule (each tier unlocks after 5 more points spent in that tree). Nothing is ever uploaded.
⚠ Skill names, trees, and descriptions are sourced from community build calculators. Per-skill point caps (1/3/5) use the standard convention for each skill's role rather than being individually verified against every current patch — the tier-unlock math itself is accurate. A few DLC-only trees aren't included yet.
How it works
Total available skill points equal character level minus 1, matching the real game's leveling rule, and each tree tier unlocks only once 5 points have been spent elsewhere in that same tree — tier 1 needs 0, tier 2 needs 5, tier 3 needs 10, and so on — reproducing Borderlands 3's actual tier-gating rather than a simplified point-total check.
FAQ
- Why are some skills capped at 1 point while most go up to 3 or 5?
- Those single-point skills are capstones — the strongest, tier-ending skill in a tree that can only be taken once, exactly as in the real game; every other skill can be leveled multiple times for stacking effects.
- Why is a skill still greyed out even though I have enough total points?
- Tier unlocks are per-tree, not global — a skill's tier requires that many points already spent in that specific tree (5 per tier), so points spent in a different tree don't count toward unlocking it.
