How it works
Each player is bound to a number key (1-9, matching their position in the list) through a single page-wide keydown listener. The first buzz sets a lock flag, so every other button and key press is ignored until the game is reset — guaranteeing only one winner is recorded even if several people press within the same instant.

What happens if two people press their key at the exact same moment?
Whichever keydown event the browser processes first wins and immediately sets a lock — every other press, even one a few milliseconds later, is ignored until you hit Reset.
Why doesn't pressing a number key work while I'm typing a player's name?
The keyboard listener checks whether an input field is focused and ignores number presses while you're typing, so adding a player named something like "2 Fast 2 Furious" won't accidentally trigger a buzz.
