Habit tracker

A simple weekly grid — click a day to mark it done. Saves automatically, no account needed.

How it works

Each habit stores a "weeks" object keyed by that week's Monday date. Clicking a day toggles that day's boolean in the current week's array, saved to localStorage on every change — so the grid you see is always this calendar week, computed fresh from today's date.

FAQ

What happens to my data when a new week starts?
It's not lost — each week's checkmarks are stored under that week's own Monday date as a key, so past weeks stay recorded even though the grid only displays the current week; there's just no page to browse older weeks yet.
Where is my habit data actually stored?
In this browser's localStorage under the key "habitTrackerData" — it's device- and browser-specific, so it won't show up if you open the tracker on a different device or clear your browsing data.
