RPG HP & initiative tracker

Add combatants, track HP with damage/heal buttons, sort by initiative.

How it works

Each combatant's Damage and Heal buttons apply whatever number is in that row's amount field, clamped so HP can never drop below 0 or rise above the max HP you gave them when adding them. The health bar changes color at fixed thresholds — yellow at 50% or below, red at 25% or below — and a combatant at 0 HP stays in the list but dims out rather than disappearing. Sort by initiative reorders the whole list by descending initiative score, and everything is saved to this browser's localStorage after every change.

FAQ

Does damage stop at 0 HP or can it go negative?
HP is clamped to a minimum of 0 — the Damage button can't push a combatant negative, and once HP hits 0 the row dims to show they're down, though it stays in the list so you can heal them back up.
Can healing push HP above the combatant's max?
No — the Heal button clamps to whatever max HP you set when adding that combatant, so you can't accidentally overheal past their starting total.
